What is EDI?
EDI stands for Electronic Data Interchange. ERP systems use EDI data to ensure a smooth flow of goods.
Basically it works like this:
The beeline Group sends article master data to your system. This is the basis of the data exchange.
Your system transfers the data to the cash desks in your shops. The cash desks now are able to scan our articles and to collect the sales data.
The cash desks send the sales data to your system and your system sends it to beeline Group. Based on that, we will do the replenishment and invoicing. As you can now figure out, the exchange between article master and sales data is absolutely necessary.
Do I have to use EDI when doing business with beeline Group?
EDI is absolutely necessary when doing business with beeline Group. beeline Group has many articles, the master data should be processed automatically. Furthermore, to replenish your shops without any problems and to invoice you as soon as possible, we need reliable, complete and up to date sales data.
