ANSI	American National Standards Institute: oversees the development of voluntary consensus standards for products, services, processes, systems, and personnel in the United States

DESADV	Despatch Advice: Electronic delivery slip in EDIFACT format. It contains the information regarding which articles were delivered to which stores at what time.

EDI	Electronic Data Interchange: Electronic data exchange between business partners (B2B).
EDIFACT	Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and Transport: Standard message format for the exchange of electronic data.
GDSN	Global Data Synchronization Network: Pool of article master data that we supply with data and which can be accessed by our partners.
GLN	Global Location Number: Location number, formerly ILN. Allows the clear, unmistakable identification of locations, also storage locations or stores. Beeline group is also identified via a GLN and currently uses different GLNs for each brand.
GS1 Germany	GS1 Germany accompanies the development and implementation of open, inter-industry, worldwide standards. Central process and application recommendations are developed based on this, e.g. EDIFACT. It is also responsible for the issuing and assignment of GLNs.
GTIN	Global Trade Item Number: Article number, formerly EAN. Used for the clear and unmistakable identification of articles. Currently, the first seven digits designate the brand within the beeline group.

INVOIC	Invoice: Electronic invoice or credit note in the EDIFACT format that contains all information regarding the goods being invoiced.
INVRPT	Inventory report: An EDIFACT message that shows the current inventory at the POS.
PRICAT	Price list and catalogue: An EDIFACT message sent to the partner with the article master data. It contains descriptive, logical information regarding the articles.
SLSRPT	Sales report: An EDIFACT message that provides detailed information regarding the sold articles, optimizes and secures the automatic article replenishment process.
